The wet-wipe machine can make single-use wet-wipe sachets automatically. The sachet is produced horizontally, from a flat film roll mounted to the side of the machine. As it passes over rollers to the main body of the machine, the film is folded in half. The film is then guided through the machine. A vertically mounted heated bar seals across the film. As the film indexes through the machine to the next station, the heated bar is activated again. This provides a sachet that has a folded bottom, and the other 2 sides are sealed, leaving the top open.
Whilst this is happening, the non-woven film has been folded and cut to length. The sachet is then held open so the non-woven pad can be inserted. At the same time, 2 – 8ml of liquid can be injected into the sachet before sealing the top. Extremely useful for placing non-woven wipes into a sachet. The non-woven film can be folded up to 3 times before being inserted into the sachet. Simple to operate and maintain. 70 – 100 packs per minute are possible
